Just lovely

winters_queenI think my horse is conversing with my car to drive me out of my mind. This past February was when Fantasy had an abscess so I had to go up every night for a month and a half to clear it out. Now my car decided that it's time to make me think again that things were evening out. My AC stopped working Friday. since I had scheduled to have the oil changed, I thought it might be a simple recharge.
Of course not.
the compressor isn't kicking on. So, it has to be replaced or else I can go without AC. This past weekend, because of the heatwave we were having, I had such a migraine that I need the AC for some relief when I'm driving longer distances. Plus I hate peeling the shirt from my back because I'm sweating. A new one, to get the warranty, I'd have to buy other associated costs and that would come out to about a thousand. I don't have a thousand dollars to throw on a ten year old car. The used is four hundred with a year warranty. *sigh* Not like I have much choice. So I'm using a good chunk of money that I had saved up to go to Assateague with this September. And at this time, I don't have the money to take on a car payment again. I want this car to last me a while.
Guess it's a good thing that I started helping at the Auction again because the extra money will help so that I'll have SOME spending money. Not as much as I wanted to take, unfortunately.
The past two years have been sucking, financial wise. I just want a break. JUST ONE. Hell, I'd be happy to win the lotto for only a couple grand. But the stupid Powerball will only get within 1 of the numbers I picked. -_- Curses. Or I'll have two numbers at most, which pays nothing if I don't have the Powerball.
