A touch of glamour

So NaNo is in *checks calender* Two and a half months. (How the hell did that happen?) I ML for my area and one of my co-MLs is taking a break this year from organizing and just going to write. She'll host write ins when she can. And the other one that I had hasn't gotten back to me. -_- I'm going to have to e-mail the woman who filled in for her last year and see if she wants to be official.

This is my 6th year MLing. (How the hell did THAT happen?) And it is like trying to round up a bunch of cats. Feral cats. No one wants to show up even though there is activity on the board, no one wants to talk about what interested them in NaNo. GAH! And let's not talk about getting them to show up at write ins. *headthunk.* And on top of that, I'll be going out West to visit the family for Thanksgiving. Not that many people show up that weekend anyway.

I haven't even picked some of the usual places to have write ins. Hopefully November is better for writing this year than the Camps have been.

Last year when I won, I wanted to get this but it had been sold out. When I ordered the ML stickers to hand out, this was the first thing I bought before it was out of the store again. And next month I'll probably get the shirt. It's pretty neat this year.


NaNo Flash Drive USB Bracelet - Yes, I could get a 2 Gig flash drive for dollars elsewhere but still...

Edit in: Of course like all those other rubber bracelets, it gathers fuzz like whoa.

So, I've been reading blogs where people are either Pantsers or Plotters and I got this silly idea to make some icons.



I'm usually a Pantser though I picked up the Plot Whisperer by Martha Alderson, as it has been recommended by a couple of blogs I've read. She also has some YouTube videos.

So, I'll see if I can plot the way she has it. We'll see. I'm be doing it for other things as I don't have much time left to do much before NaNo starts.

I'm still behind by like 5k words but I can catch up. Really. I just need to stop messing around now. I was tired this weekend so I didn't get as much done as I wanted. It helps when I can find people on Twitter to do springs. That's helped a lot.

Or I'll just stick in the headphones and listen to some soundtracks.

I need to get November's story ready. Still not sure if I want to do the one I had the idea for at the book signing or continue along the same story line that the Camp story is about.
