Title: Memories
Challenge/Prompt: #118 - Regret
Original Fiction
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None
Eiji leaned back in his chair, turning a bullet that was modified so that it was on a chain. He should have gotten rid of the necklace. There was no reason for him to keep it anymore. He made a face and pulled the drawer to his desk open to drop it in when the door to his cabin opened up.
Maru paused and stared as the last of the chain disappeared. She gave a sigh. “It was for the best, you know.”
Eiji made a face as he closed the drawer and locked it. “Doesn’t make it stop hurting.”
